i have a thing for... H&M x Marni

to be honest i was quite disappointed with the recent cross-over campaign by H&M with Versace. not a fan of the glamorous 80's prints, colours and boldness, it is hard for me to 'celebrate' the heat this collaboration brought to the industry. i was amazed that (well not actually when i came to think about how HK ppl loves to queue up for everything) some people would literally attack the others in the queue just for a piece of garment or an electronic product. come on, what happened to civilization???

back to the subject - right. Marni. known for it's stylish prints, crisp colours, sporty touches and 'one of a kind' silhouettes, it raised my curiousity again about this upcoming collaboration. here's what Consuelo Castiglioni, the creative director from Marni, says about this collection:

'The women's line will include full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped pants, and jacquard knits in everything from silk to cotton. Plus, the collection will also include jewelry, shoes, bags, and scarves (YUS!). Just peeping the image above makes us weak in the knees because we are loving that bright '70s print SO. HARD.'

i am not sure if i can carry prints that well, but if for accessories it is definitely a 'yes' for me. hehe... looking forward to this :)
